Materials

To create this crochet coin purse with zipper, you will need a crochet hook of 5 mm, polyester cord with thickness 3mm and a zipper.

Pattern of Crochet Coin Purse With Zipper

– Chain 12, (working in back loop only) single crochet in the second chain from hook, single crochet in each chain across, chain 1, turn. [11 stitches]

– Single crochet in the same stitch, single crochet in the next stitch across the row, chain 1, turn. [11 stitches]

– Repeat previous step for 8 more times.

– Turn your work 90° clockwise, slip stitch in the next 10 stitches, chain 1, turn your work 90° clockwise, slip stitch in the next 11 stitches, chain 1, turn your work 90° clockwise, slip stitch in the next 11 stitches, chain 1, turn your work 90° clockwise, slip stitch in the next 11 stitches, fasten off, weave in all ends.

– Now you finished the first part, let’s make the two side parts (2 similar pieces).

– Chain 22, single crochet in the second chain from hook, single crochet in each chain across, chain 1, turn. [21 stitches]

– Single crochet in the same stitch, single crochet in the next stitch across the row, chain 1, turn. [21 stitches]

– Single crochet decrease in the first 2 stitches, single crochet in the next stitch across the row. [20 stitches]

– Repeat previous step for 9 more times, fasten off, and weave in all ends.

– Repeat for the second side.

– Sew the zipper between 2 sides, and then with back side facing you, attach the base with the 2 sides using tapestry needle and yarn.
