Crochet Flower Written Pattern:

Complexity: Beginner

Materials:

2.50 mm Crochet Hook

Red Hart Yarn in green and orange colors.

Abbreviations:

Ch – chain
St – stitch
Sl-st – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
TRC – treble crochet

Pattern:

First, create the magic ring.

Round 1: Ch 1 and make SC 20. St-st to join the ring.

Round 2: Make Ch 4, skip 1 and SC 1. * Ch 2, skip 1 and SC 1**. Repeat 8 from * to ** .
Ch 2 and Sl-st on the second St of the Ch 4 created before.

Cut the yarn and drag it to shorten the ring you created. Start with another color.

Round 3: Create a loop and Sl-st in the 2nd st of the first little box created in Round 2. Ch 10 and turn. Skip 3 st and SC 1. Ch 1 and turn.

Round 4: Make SC 2, DC 3 and TRC 3. Ch 3 and SC 1 in the two loops of the last TRC. Ch 3 and SC 1 in the two loops of the last SC. Ch 3 and SC 1 in the two loops of the last SC. SC 1 in the two loops of the last TRC. Now make TRC 3, DC 3 and SC 3. Sl-st in the next to the last SC1 of Round 3.

Round 5: Ch 10 and turn. SC 1 next to the start of the Round 3 ( next to the begging of the first petal ).  Ch 1 and turn.

Round 6: Make SC 2, DC 3 and TRC 3. Ch 3 and SC 1 in the two loops of the last TRC. Ch 3 and SC 1 in the two loops of the last SC. Ch 3 and SC 1 in the two loops of the last SC. SC 1 in the two loops of the last TRC. Now make TRC 3, DC 3 and SC 3. Sl-st in the next to the last SC1 of Round 5.

Repeat 8 times Round 5 and Round 6 to complete the petals of this crochet flower pattern.

Optional:

Join the top of the petals. Start with another yarn color.

Round 1: Create a loop and Sl-st at the top st of one of the petals.

Round 2: *Ch 10 and Sl-st at the top st of the next petal**. Repeat 10 from * to **.
