Materials

To create this pattern, you will need a crochet hook of 2.5 mm, and Dk weight yarn.

Abbreviations:

Chain(s) = Ch
Single crochet = sc
Double crochet = Dc
Slip stitch = sl st
Stitch = st

Pattern of Crochet Flower Round Motif

1. Slip knot, ch3, slip stitch to the first chain to make a ring.

2. Ch3 (doesn’t count as first dc), 12dc into the ring, sl st to 1st dc in the round. [12dc]

3. Ch3 (count as a first dc), dc in the same st, 2dc in next st around, join with sl st to 1st dc of round. [24dc]

4. Change color, ch3 (count as a first dc), dc in the same st, dc in the next st, *2dc in the next st, dc in the next st*, Repeat * around, join with sl st to 1st dc of round. [36dc]

5. ch3 (count as a first dc), dc in the same st, dc in the next 2st, *2dc in the next st, dc in the next 2st*, Repeat * around, join with sl st to 1st dc of round. [48dc]

6. ch3 (count as a first dc), dc in the same st, dc in the next 3st, *2dc in the next st, dc in the next 3st*, Repeat * around, join with sl st to 1st dc of round. [60dc]

7. Change color to the first color, ch3 (count as a first dc), dc in the next st, ch8, skip next 2st, *dc in the next 2st, ch8, skip next 2st*, repeat * across, sl st to the 1st dc of round.

8. Now we will work around the first dc, (insert hook, pull up a loop, *yarn over hook, insert hook around the dc*, repeat * 8 times total, **yarn over hook, pull through 2 loops**), repeat ** until you have 3 loops on your hook, repeat () around the next dc until you have 5 loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through all loops, 10sc in the next ch-8 space, sl st to the next dc, repeat across the round, sl st to the 1st dc in the round.

Fasten off, weave in all ends.
