Materials

To create this pattern, you will need a crochet hook of 1.4 mm, and any sport weight yarn, and beads.

Abbreviations:

• Chain(s) = Ch
• Double crochet = Dc
• Single crochet = Sc
• Treble crochet = Tr
• Double treble = Dtr
• Slip stitch = sl st
• Stitch = st

Pattern of the Crochet Lace Headband

1. Ch6, dtr in 6th ch from hook, ch9, tr in 5th ch from hook, *ch9, tr in 5th ch from hook*, repeat * until reach the desired length, Fasten off.

2. Using another strand of yarn, sl st to any space between 2tr, ch6, now we will work around the ch-6 we just made, *pass the hook under the ch-6 and pull up a loop, keep on hook, pull yarn through this loop*, repeat * 5 times, insert hook in the space, pull up a loop, pull yarn through this loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, **yarn over, pull through 2 loops**, repeat ** until you have 1 loops on your hook, (ch4, sc to the base st, ***insert hook in the next st, pull up a loop***, repeat *** until you have 6 loops, insert hook in the space, pull up a loop, pull yarn through, repeat ** until you have 1 loop), repeat () 13 more times, ch4, sc to the base st.

3. Dtr in the next space, *pass the hook under the dtr and pull up a loop, keep on hook, pull yarn through this loop*, repeat * 5 times (you have 6 loops on your hook), insert hook in the space, pull up a loop, pull yarn through this loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, **yarn over, pull through 2 loops**, repeat ** until you have 1 loops on your hook, (ch4, sc to the base st, ***insert hook in the next st, pull up a loop***, repeat *** until you have 6 loops, insert hook in the space, pull up a loop, pull yarn through, repeat ** until you have 1 loop), repeat () 4 more times, ch4, sc to the base st.

4. Repeat previous step until reach the last space.

5. *pass the hook under the dtr and pull up a loop, keep on hook, pull yarn through this loop*, repeat * 5 times (you have 6 loops on your hook), insert hook in the space, pull up a loop, pull yarn through this loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, **yarn over, pull through 2 loops**, repeat ** until you have 1 loops on your hook, (ch4, sc to the base st, ***insert hook in the next st, pull up a loop***, repeat *** until you have 6 loops, insert hook in the space, pull up a loop, pull yarn through, repeat ** until you have 1 loop), repeat () 13 more times, ch4, sc to the base st, turn the work and work in the opposite side.

6. Repeat step 3 until reach the end.

7. Insert hook in the middle ch4 of the 14 cluster in the side, ch2, dc in the same st, *ch2, dc in the previous space between 2st*, repeat * for 3 more times, ch3, **yarn over, insert hook in the previous space, pull yarn, yarn over, insert hook in the same space, pull yarn, yarn over, insert hook in the same space, yarn over, pull through all loops**, ch4, repeat ** for 1 more time, ch2, sl st to the same space, fasten off.

8. Repeat previous step for the second side.

9. Sew beads to the center of the cord.

Fasten off, weave in all ends.
