Lace Crochet Pattern You Will Love

I am all time fan of lace crochet patterns. The plus and unique point is the delicacy of these beauties.

THE LACE CROCHET PATTERN

These lace crochet patterns are usually easy to make and work best with crochet and fabric designing. These are good to wash and work best on long run. This lace crochet pattern is perfect for many projects like borders of skirts, shirts and sweaters. I would love to add it on the borders of beach hats, because of its airy texture. It may seem difficult to make this lace crochet pattern but I found it very easy. You may need some practice in the beginning. I’ve added a detailed pattern with easy explanations. Materials:

To make this lace crochet pattern you’ll need: lace / sock weight yarn (200 g) and a 2.20 mm crochet hook.

Abbreviations:

• ch – chain
• dc – double crochet
• sl-st – slip stitch
• sc – single crochet
• st – Stitch
• tr – treble crochet
• tr extended – treble crochet extended (make 1 extra loop)

Directions of Lace Crochet Pattern:

Make a foundation chain of multiple of 4 + 3.

Row 1

skip 3 ch, make tr in each st across the row. Turn.

Row 2

ch3 (count as 1st st), make front post tr in each st across the row. Turn.

Row 3

ch4, *skip 1st st, “make 1 tr extended in front post, 1dc in same st” (watch video for more clarity), make 1 front post tr extended in 1st st (we skipped before)*, repeat from *to* for the entire row. Turn.

Row 4

ch3, “1 front post tr in dc of previous st, ch2, skip 2 sts” repeat across the row. Turn.

Row 5

ch1, “1sc in ch sp, ch3” repeat across the row. Turn.

Row 6

ch1, “1sc in ch sp, ch3” repeat across the row, 1 dc in last st. Turn.

Row 7

ch1, “1sc in ch sp, ch3, 1sc in ch sp, ch1” repeat across the row, 1 dc in last st. Turn.

Row 8

4 ch, “1sc in ch3 sp, ch3, 1 popcorn st in ch1 sp, ch4” repeat across the row, end with ch2, 1dc in last st. Turn.

Row 9

ch1, 1sc in ch sp. we are working a special st (I’d suggest to watch video for this row) special st in row 3, “3dc, 1tr” in next ch sp, “1tr, 1 p-cot, 1 extended tr in popcorn st”, “1tr, 3dc” in next ch sp, 1sc in next st, work special st. repeat across the row. End with 1sc. Turn.

Row 10

ch 7 (count as 1 tr and 3 ch), “1dc in the base of middle tr, 1sc in the base of p-cot, ch3, extended tr in the base of sc, ch3” x repeat across the row. Turn.

Row 11

ch1, 2 sc in ch sp, “ch3, 1 sc in ch sp” repeat from “to” across the row. End with 1 sc in 4th ch. Turn.

Row 12

ch4, “1sc in ch sp, ch3” repeat across the row. End with 1 dc.

Row 13

ch3, 1 tr in ch sp, “ 3 tr in each of ch sp”, repeat across the row. End with 1tr in last ch sp, 1tr in last st. Turn.

Row14

start repeating from 2nd row.
