I found this pattern in English on Amazon.ca and bought it on my kindle for $6.66 Canadian. It is made with a 2.5 or 3mm hook and I would think the wool is equivalent to sports weight based on hook size.

On the you tube video, turn on closed captioning. Then go to settings and select auto translate and your language of preference. Presto! A pattern you can understand!

If you watch the Part 2 video, you can see the description is wrong about this being an all-in-one crochet project. You do have to make separate pieces and attach them together.
Also, the only captions available for this are Portuguese. You cannot just choose any language on all YouTube videos.

Follow the instructions posted above and you will have English subtitles. Also, there is a Spanish video (can use English subtitles easily) that explains it all in one video. She also offer ways to taylor it for you size and uses DK (3) size yarn with a 5 or 5.5 hook.
The video will appear as crochet coat jacket easy and the author of the video is “Esther y su mundo de crochet”

Did anyone ever figure out a written pattern?

I generally watch the video and write the pattern out before I make a project. Much easier than having to open a video every time you want to continue with the project.

Does anyone know if this pattern is translated in any other sizes? I’d love to do a toddler size if possible
