WHY MAKING A CROCHET PHONE CASE
I wanted something cool and fancy to cover my lovely iPhone. I hate this plastic covers that not only are pretty ugly for my taste, but also doesn’t really protect my phone. So, I start creating this fancy and cosy crochet phone case and it came out better than I thought. I love making crochet projects that are really useful in my daily life and these phone cases fully meet my needs. They are very safe and can fit with any outfit you wear.

I decided to use a multicolor yarn for these phone cases. And, any color that you’ll choose will look beautiful with this pattern.
How To Work This Crochet Phone Case
The crochet phone case pattern is very easy to follow up, especially if you’re comfortable with slip stitch. As you can see from the photos, the body of the case is robust and, at the same time, looks so beautiful. I gave a triangle shape to the top cover, by skipping some stitches starting from the second row. Also, added a neck pouch because is very comfortable. On the neck pouch I use a particular stitch that may seem difficult, but it will be very easy after you understand it.
You can find the free pattern below and the video tutorial to help you as well in making this crochet phone case.

Isn’t it really easy!? This Crochet Phone Case is pretty quick to make, you can make one of them in a couple of hours. I made dozens of them in different colors for many occasions like Halloween, Christmas or for my daily life. Also, I gave some of them as a gift to my nieces and they loved them.

I find the instructions for the triangle shaped cover and especially for the handler (the long chain that goes around the neck), are very hard to understand. Even after watching the tutorial I have still not been able to figure out the chain for around the neck. I think part of the problem is that what you call single crochet and what I learned as single crochet are not the same thing.

Hey, go to you tube it’s called the single crochet foundation chain , it’s pretty easy to follow when you get the hang of it. This chain stitch just makes it poofy or you can just do a regular chain stitch and then go back and do a single crochet in the single chain you did …. I hope I didn’t confuse you on how to do the strap !!!!!

Hi there
I’m following the instructions and then I watched the video for a little help. I’m confused, on the body it says to do so-st but I’m the video you do single crochet after the first couple of chains. Do you do, what the instructions say (sl-st) or what the video says (sc)?
Many thanks
