oh, the strawberry stitch is so wonderful. i am new to this and don’t quite understand the elongated 0’s on the pattern. are they turning 0’s? on the rt. side and left side. i guess you start with red at the first..is this written down anywhere, although i want to follow along with you actually doing it . thank you so much. wow.
Amy
I sure hope you’ve figured it out by now. I believe the elongated o’s are chain stitches. So when you’ve reached the end of the row, you chain 3, turn, and begin the next row (or turn first and then chain 3…I’ve seen it done either way).

Is there a written pattern available for this? The video is somewhat helpful but without subtext or spoken instructions it’s kind of difficult to follow. I’m sure I’ll figure it out but a written pattern would be more useful. Thanks!

The chart is very easy to follow, crochet the stitches according to the chart.

I too need written instructions.

Beautiful to look at. Author: Written instructions are the generally accepted format for American patterns…..this is not a pattern or stitch tutorial and is misleading. Reporting.
